Post-Release Patch #5: Patch 0.6
The long awaited negotiation overhaul! My next patch v0.7 will be focused on polish, balance with the base roster, and fixing miscellaneous issues rather than feature-packing. New screens & better looking game overall.
Fixes/Improvements
- Refined in-race laptime calculation and finishing times. No more photo finishes every race, and laptimes make sense.,
- Fixed reserves not showing up in the standings screen,
- Fixed parts not showing up in team dashboard when parts contracts needs to be signed,
- Allowed teams to start as an engine partner,
- Refined save system. Game autosaves every 26 weeks, and a backup save upon exit. Players can manually save from the team dashboard.,
- Updated stat progression to start younger.,
- Reduced negotiation point generation, as only staff and drivers require them.,
Additions
- Overhauled negotiation systems for Engines, Tyres, and Sponsors. Teams now compete for exclusive contracts, sponsors, etc. Manage negotiations by assigning staff, unlockable by increasing levels of your negotiation and PR building, and managing deals to unlock time-based deals on contracts & unique rewards for each type of deal. AI have differing staffing focuses on season offsets. Numerous new mechanics & systems have been added into this.,
- Added easy negotiation tracker on the main ui.,
- Refined a couple ui's and added driver history tracking (see image),
- Added new "Factory" building, which provides teams more parts at the start of seasons. This will reduce in-season spending by providing teams with more parts. Teams without a factory will now only start with 2 sets of parts.,
- Added calendar rotation mechanic event in which tracks can be rotated out per an event triggering late-season. The new track will be chosen from a currently unused track in the tracks folder
- I squeezed in an email filter system so emails can be sorted by categories if you wish to view a particular list of emails
